After the great wall of china, the next itinerary was the Ming Tombs. Also a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Ming Tombs has 13 sites for 13 emperors, 23 empresses and one concubine.

Beijing Tour (Day 1) - Part 1

The first site we visited was the Great Wall of China, considered one of the seven greatest architecture of the world. Taking 2,000 years to complete, the great wall of china stretched 629km.

Beijing Tour

Beijing, the capital of China, a world famous historical and cultural city. Beijing has traces of mankind dating back 500,000 years ago from the primitive tribes and clans to the more recent chinese civilisation which also has 5000 years of history. The long history and well preserved remains has left the city with many historical sites that made the UNESCO's World Heritage List. In these 2 days, i will visit some of these sites within the vicinity of Beijing. Stay on to this blog these next few days for photos of these sites.
