lonely jas... sitting by the millenium bridge in the cold night wondering when i'll be done....

i especially like this photo because the millenium bridge leads your eye to st paul's cathedral on the left. the long exposure allowed the light from the bridge to be reflected on the river thames. the only problem is maybe too much sky in the picture, some moving clouds would have been nice.

now... now... this is the london bridge... the original bridge was built some 2000 years ago... however it was teared down and burned down several times.. maybe thats what inspired the nursery rhyme "london bridge is falling down"

"london bridge is falling down".. one of the childhood songs we use to sing... many people mistaken this as the london bridge, i was one of them until i realise that this... is called the tower bridge...

Erected in 1894, the tower bridge is one of the most recognisable bridges in the world. until today, the bridges still lifts itself some 900 times a year for taller ships or boats to sail through.

the millenium bridge was opened in june 2000 and closed 3 days later when it was found to wobble alot, the problem was eventually rectified. according to an interview with the designer, he says there is nothing wrong with the bridge, just the way people walk... hmm?...

if you look at the far end of the millennium bridge, you'll see the dome of the st paul's cathedral
