the tube took us to our first sight-seeing location, westminster. this is where the big ben and london eye is located.



big ben is the clock tower of the house of parliament. built between 1840 to 1860, the house of parliament houses the house of commons and house of lords. ben is the name of the bell hanging inside the big ben, it is named after benjamin hall, the commissioner of works then.
